Customer Appreciation Day: Scotts Valley

What a gorgeous day!

Once a year we travel to each one of our locations and serve a treat to our loyal customers! Just our way to say thank you to our old customers and welcome to our new ones. This trip we offered Tony & Alba's pizza along side an icy cold soda. We ordered Cheese, Pepperoni and BBQ Chicken. What a treat! Great pizza, they have stores in San Jose as well.

Movie Alert: Temple Grandin

If you want to watch an amazing true story, check this movie out. Watch this autistic East Coast native make her way with the big boys at feedlots out West. Temple is being inducted to the Nation Cowgirl Hall of Fame this year so there is no time like the present to watch it!
Enjoy...

Go Fore Pizza - Rancho Murieta, CA

Twice a year I find myself in Rancho Murieta, for a horse show of course. I have reviewed El Gallo, the Mexican place and StoneHouse Bistro, the Italian place. Now, it is Go Fore's turn.

The inside is quaint but I ordered my food to go so I didn't stay long. It looks like a great place to watch some Monday Night Football though!

Wings. My current new obsession whether they are fried or drenched in hot sauce I am on a little bit of a kick. These were spicy! Wow. They will sneak up on you!!

And here we have what they call the Meat Head. It was very tasty filled with basically every meat selection possible, layered in between extra mozzarella cheese! Very good pizza!

Thank you Rancho Murieta! The cutters thank you for your lovely hospitality! Go grab a pizza - they deliver too! They can be reached at (916) 354-2700.

Buca di Beppo - San Jose, CA

I chose this place by default. Everything else had a 45 minute wait and I was not in the mood to wait. Driving to San Jose after work, dealing with mall parking lots and shopping can make me one irritated sister. So I figured I would try it and boy did I make the wrong decision.

The menu is just pages and pages of noodles. I know I picked an Italian joint but I know they eat things other than noodles right? I finally found Veal Parmigiana on the menu and decided to go with that. The small version of this dish was $21.95. I only wanted one serving! This place is served family style. So I chugged my Limoncello Martini and got out of there! Next time I am going to Olive Garden!

Sun Pass Ranch - Fort Klamath, OR

Every August the Aged Events start up for the National Cutting Horse Association. Time for the 3 year old to be debuted. Fort Klamath, Oregon is where the the first show out West begins. If you have been through "The Fort" you know there are not too many places to stay or eat. But there is one place I can vouch for being "The place" to be for your travels or vacation. Welcome to the Sun Pass Ranch: Bed, Breakfast and Horse Hotel.

Beautiful afternoon at the ranch.

The kitchen where Patty creates delicious breakfasts for guests.

"Saddle up" at the bar for conversation or a tasty treat!

Just one of the rooms at Sun Pass.

If you are interested in staying at the Sun Pass Ranch you can check out their website: Sun Pass Ranch There are additional photos and information on the site. Give them a call, you will fall in love with the beautiful views, hospitality and delicious meals!
