San Juan Oaks - San Juan Bautista, CA

Administrative Professional's Day was on April 21 this year and I had the pleasure of treating my office of ladies out to lunch. We have in the past gone to the Cedar House located in Hollister but they have changed up their days open. It was a Wednesday and so we called San Juan Oaks Golf Course and they welcomed us with open arms!

We were very organized and ordered before we got there so we could make it back to the office within our one hour recess. Everything came with either a soup or salad and Melissa Good Taste had to go with the soup. It was almost a Manhattan Clam Chowder, full of veggies and clams and fish. What a surprise! It was very good. There was French bread and warm butter on the table for us to indulge in.

Doesn't this look too good for lunch? I was happy with my selection of the Pecan Salmon. It was a baked fillet with pecan crust in a citrus beurre blanc sauce. This was a fantastic sized fillet resting on a bed of wild rice, paired with steamed vegetables. Beautiful meal.

I was so thrilled with this meal, not just because mine was fantastic, but because of the happiness of our entire group! Everyone ordered different things off the menu and were pleased with their choices. Our service was fantastic. Drinks never went empty and we were asked constantly if we needed anything. Wonderful experience, please visit the restaurant at San Juan Oaks Golf Course and experience it yourself. Mother's Day Brunch is coming up - make your reservations!
